Cleanliness is not a task which can be done to earn money, rather, it is a good habit which we should adopt for good health and a healthy life. Cleanliness is an act of virtue which every person should follow as a big responsibility to improve the standard of living. We should maintain our personal hygiene, cleanliness of pets, cleanliness of environment, cleanliness of our surroundings, and cleanliness of workplace etc. We should not cut trees and should plant trees to keep the environment clean.
This is not a difficult task, but we should do it in a peaceful manner. A step taken together with everyone can turn into a big step. When a small child can successfully learn to walk, talk, run and if encouraged by the parents, then hygiene habits can be very easily inculcated in childhood.
Parents teach their child to walk because it is very important to live a full life. They must understand that cleanliness is very important for a healthy life and long life, hence they should also inculcate the habit of cleanliness in their children. If we bring such small changes within us, then perhaps the day is not far when the whole of India will be clean. Therefore, inspire them from childhood to follow cleanliness.
Cleanliness is very important for any person. We should adopt it in every field because everyone has different meanings. Cleanliness of thoughts makes us a good person, while personal hygiene protects us from harmful diseases. Therefore, we should always strive for universal development of cleanliness.
importance of cleanliness
Whether a person is young or old, at every age it is necessary for them to follow some hygiene rules such as always washing hands with soap before and after eating, taking bath daily, brushing their teeth, cleaning the objects that have fallen down. Do not eat, keep your house clean, there should be proper sunlight in the house, keep your nails clean, keep not only the house but also the surrounding environment clean, do not spread garbage. Putting dry and wet waste separately in green and blue dustbins. Thus, there are many other things through which you can develop hygiene habits within yourself.
Benefits of cleanliness
Any disease is not only harmful for the body but also increases the expenses. Dangerous diseases like jaundice, typhoid, cholera spread due to consumption of dirty water and food. Mosquitoes breed in dirty environments which spread deadly diseases like malaria, dengue, chikungunya.
It is better to follow hygiene rules rather than increasing unnecessary diseases. By doing this we can save lakhs of rupees of the country which are spent on diseases. Along with personal cleanliness, ideological cleanliness makes us a good human being. One who always thinks about the welfare of others along with his own development and when all the people of the country start living with such a feeling, then the day is not far when the country will start moving rapidly on the path of progress along with cleanliness.
Understanding the need for cleanliness, the Government of India also launched a campaign called Swachh Bharat, which was started on 2 October 2014 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. But no campaign can be run by the government alone, there is a need to spread awareness among the citizens there.
Under this campaign, the government has promoted cleanliness in both urban and rural areas and has pledged to make the entire India open defecation free. Till now 98 percent of India has been made open defecation free. Similarly, there are many other campaigns like Nirmal Bharat, Child Sanitation Campaign etc. The aim of all is to promote cleanliness in India.
We can say that cleanliness is an integral part of our life and with cleanliness habits we can live a healthy life. When our entire environment remains clean then the country will also remain clean and in this way with just a little effort we can clean the entire country.
We should inculcate hygiene habits in children from a young age, because they are the future of the country and a good habit can bring change in the country. No one can stop a country whose children are socially, ideologically and personally clean from moving forward. Be a responsible citizen and contribute to the development of the country. Adopt cleanliness and take the country forward.
